well the first two and a half months have been a little interesting. i started out in morocco and spain not having any idea that i was pregnant. i had horrible morning sickness in spain, but didn't know that's what it was. no throwing up, thank goodness!! just nausea, which was bad enough. now that i am ending my first trimester, i feel a WHOLE LOT better. i get nauseous sometimes but it's definitely tapering off. i'm just thankful that food finally sounds good again.
our first doctor's appointment was on june 16th. we had our first ultrasound and the tech took pictures (which i will post next time since i don't have a scanner around me at the moment). the babies heart rate was 164 (yes i know this makes it a little girl...that's my vote anyways). we saw the baby move its arm (well arm bud to be technical about it). drew's face when we heard the heart beat was priceless; i wish i could have had a camera.
the baby is healthy and doing very well. keep praying that the baby keeps growing and stays healthy!!
