Lola's First Halloween

Up until recently Lola has been our "Chunky Monkey". She just recently decided to become our green bean instead by jumping up in height and losing some of her rolls. Before this sudden growth spirt, we decided to dress her up as a monkey for Halloween. She didn't really like the costume because it was kind of like a fat suit that didn't let her move around very much. And it didn't help that she wasn't feeling very well either. Soon after these pictures were taken Lola decided to be an ER patient instead of our cute little monkey.

One of the few smiles we got out of her on Halloween.

Screaming like a monkey!!

Look at those cheeks...they're still chubby!!

Our monkey with her banana.

Because I didn't have space to add all of the pictures we got of her on Halloween in this post, here's the link to my Facebook album with all of her Halloween pictures in it. Enjoy!!

Gotta post more cute pictures!!

I get a little trigger happy on my camera. I LOVE the fact that Drew keeps me in good cameras. If he didn't I would probably lose my marbles (and not have nearly as many good pictures of Lola as I do).

Lola in her bouncer (she looks like she's almost 2 in this picture :( sad)

She loves Beauty and the Beast already!

Our long sleepy bean!!

Grandma Bean's Birthday Night

Grandma Bean celebrated her birthday in style...with a Lola accessory. We all went out for my mom's birthday and she was the typical doting grandmother. She carried Lola around and just loved on her the entire night. It was great going back to The Cheesecake Factory with my mom and Lola since that's where her, Lola, Drew, Janean and I went the day that we left the hospital after Lola was born. I will always love the Cheesecake Factory!!!

I Wear My Sunglasses At Night

Lola is going through a phase where she throws a temper tantrum every time we lay her down to change her. I think she's at a point where because she can so easily move around when we lay her down to change her I think she feels as if her autonomy is being challenged. If that's the case then Lola should learn to change her own poopy diapers and then we can talk. Haha. To distract her one night, I decided to give her my sunglasses to play with. They started on her face but didn't stay there for very long.

Zoo time for Lola!!

A few weeks ago Lola experienced her second trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. The first trip was just with Grandma Nean, Lily and Lily's daughter, Alexa. This was the first trip that Mommy and Daddy got to enjoy with our little bean. She loved the fish and everything outside. She was NOT a fan of the dolphin show. She liked following the dolphins and watching all the stuff that they did, but she wasn't into all the loud music and the lady talking over the loud speaker. I had to leave early so I could make it to work, but she enjoyed the rest of her trip to the Zoo with Grandma Nean, Daddy, Great-Aunt Alyssa, Great-Uncle Kyle, and their two boys, Marshall and Rafe.

Where has the time gone????

Our little Lola is now 9 months old....I have no idea where the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday I was waking up with her every 3 hours to feed her and now she goes all night long and is trying to walk on her own. She's our little Miss Independent. She wants to do everything on her own...which makes mommy (and maybe daddy) really sad. We took these pictures a week or so before her 9 month birthday but they still work. Haha.

Lola Jean Kipfer chillin' in the bath tub!

LOOOOOOVVEEEE this picture!!

She loves to "swim" in the bath tub.

It's nice to eat the letters and use them to spell things.

Fall in Indiana

Drew and I both love Autumn and all that comes with it. I particularly like pumpkin flavored things. Drew loves the leaves. We decided to go to the new 100 Acres that just opened at the IMA. The leaves were absolutely beautiful. And we got some pictures with us and Lola too.

To see all the best pictures from that day follow the link to see my facebook album. There were just too many pictures to put on her the silly way they do it.
